Lisa, where did you live in Arlington? I used to live in Fairlington, near Shirlington, and that apartment looks so much like the ones near us... Happy new year!
I lived in Clarendon (very near Rosslyn and right off Lee Highway) but I wouldn't be surprised if they did look the same. These were the "basement" apartments. From the front of the building they were underground, but up one flight when approached from the back. Happy New Year to you too!
I think 2009 will be better for everyone. It's got to be. We all have so much to look forward to.
