First steps - Progress

-

The first important step is the priming of the piece.

Since the colored paint on this stool is going to be acrylic latex, so should my primer. I went out and bought a quart of Kilz 2 Latex sealer primer stainblocker only to find an almost full quart of True Value E-Z Kare acrylic latex primer/sealer in my "stash". Yes, craft supplies have not made it to the Cure stage yet.

Must. Get. On. That.

So, I spent half an hour putting on the first coat of primer.

Done.

My favorite thing is that five minutes after painting the last stroke, the brush and my hands were clean. Ahhh, the power of water-based latex!
